The Health Benefits Of Owning A Pet

Posted by Absolutely Clean on

Welcoming a beloved pet into the family home is one of the most joyful experiences for the entire family. The company of a dog or cat (or both) can provide the entire family with so much love and affection. So many of us look back at our childhoods feeling so much love when we think of the pets with whom we shared our lives and our homes. Perhaps you have a family of your own, and you are considering expanding your family with a furry friend. Today, we would like to explore some of the health benefits of having a pet in the family.

Reduce Allergies In Children

At first, this idea sounds counterintuitive. After all, many people are very allergic to both dogs and cats. However, pediatrician James E Gern conducted studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison that proved having pet in the home can lower the risk of developing allergies in children. When children are exposed to animals early in their lives, their immune systems grow stronger.

Socialization

If you do not know many people in your neighborhood, taking your dog for a walk in the neighborhood will work wonders for you. A lot of people simply love dogs, and even if they wouldn’t have approached you before, they might approach your dog, hoping for a pet. Taking your dog to the local dog park is another great way to meet people as well.

Pets Are Good For Heart Health

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention conducted a study in which they discovered that pet owners experience decreased blood pressure, triglyceride, and cholesterol levels. Together, these factors actually help lower your chance of having a heart attack.

Exercise

If you have a hard time getting off your couch, you will have to if you own a dog. Dogs often need to be walked several times a day, which means that you’ll be accompanying them. When you regularly exercise, your overall health improves and you experience a greater sense of well-being.

How To Handle Pet Messes

If you decide to adopt a dog or cat, your entire family will experience the true joy of animal companionship. However, owning a pet comes with its responsibilities. Even the most well-trained pet will most likely experience an accident from time to time. Although chemical cleaners can mask the soiled area with their fragrances, they often give people and pets headaches. Chemical fumes are terrible for everyone in the household, and harsh cleaners pollute the environment.

Absolutely Clean developed its Pet Stain & Odor Remover as a chemical-free alternative to odor and stain removers currently on the market. Our pet Stain & Odor removers use powerful enzymes from our plant-based surfactants to safely clean and deodorize a variety of surfaces. Free of chemical fumes, this product effectively removes the toughest stains and odors without harming people, pets, or the environment. Enzymes are also powerful enough to remove urine odors so that your pet doesn’t eliminate in the same spot repeatedly.

Adding a pet to your family can be one of the most fulfilling experiences that your family can enjoy together, but it will be messy. Order a bottle of Absolutely Clean Pet Stain and Odor Remover to clean any messes without exposing your family, your pets, and the environment to terrible chemical fumes.
